Lock Carrier Cover, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the hook release lever. Refer to HOOK RELEASE LEVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the expanding clips -arrows- using the Pliers: T40172C .
-- Remove the lock carrier cover -2- from the groove in the radiator grille -1-.
-- Remove the lock carrier cover.
TIP:
Install the hook operating lever again (refer to HOOK RELEASE LEVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING ) if in the future procedures the hood is closed.
