Steering Angle Sensor -G85- BASIC SETTING

Vehicle Diagnostic Tester
Steering Wheel Scales :VAS6458A

This basic setting should be selected after the following actions:

Settings to the suspension were changed.
The steering column is removed and replaced.
The steering gear is removed and installed.

Procedure

-- Connect the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.

-- Switch the ignition on.

-- Select and start the Diagnostic operating mode.

-- Select the Test plan tab.

-- Select the Select individual test button and select the following tree structure consecutively:

Diagnostic-capable systems
0044 - Power Steering Control Module
0044 - Power Steering Control Module functions
0044 - Basic setting

-- Start the selected program and follow the instructions on the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester display.
