Brake Caliper
- Allocation. Refer to the Parts Information.
- Do not disconnect the brake hose when replacing a brake pad
- Refer to BRAKE CALIPER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING
- Refer to BRAKE CALIPER, REPLACING
Bleed Screw
- 11 Nm
Protective Cap

- Self-locking
- Replace after removing
- 35 Nm

- For the brake line/hose
Brake Line
- Do not change the bending shape.
- Replace a damaged or bent brake line
- Tightening Specifications
  - With standard tool: 14 Nm
  - With special tool Figure 12 Nm
Springs
- Replace if damaged
Brake Hose
- Make sure the brake hose is routed correctly. Make sure the brake hose is not pinched, bent, twisted or rubbing against the vehicle
- Replace if damaged
- Make sure that tabs are properly seated in the grooves on the bracket.
Bracket
- For brake hose and wire
Bolt
- 8 Nm
Banjo Bolt
- Permanent with seals
- Clean any corrosion from the sealing surface on the brake caliper
- If damaged, replace the brake hose
- 35 Nm
Brake Shield
- Refer to BRAKE SHIELD, REMOVING AND INSTALLING
Bolt
- 12 Nm

- 8 Nm
Brake Rotor
- Allocation. Refer to the Parts Information.
- Wear limit. Refer to TECHNICAL DATA, BRAKES .
- Always replace on both axles, at the same time the brake pads must also be replaced
- Do not use excessive force to separate the brake rotor from the wheel hub. Use rust remover, if necessary, otherwise the brake rotor could be damaged.
- Refer to BRAKE ROTOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING
Brake Carrier
Brake Pads
- Allocation. Refer to the Parts Information.
- Check the pad thickness. For the wear limit, refer to BRAKE PADS, CHECKING THICKNESS .
- Always replace on both axles.
- Refer to BRAKE PADS, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, PR NUMBER 1LC, 1LG AND 1LJ
- Inner right brake pad with brake pad wear sensor
- Installation position. Refer to Installing - Meaning of the letters on the brake pads .
