Side Trim, Removing And Installing, A6 AVANT: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:
-- Prepare the new glass trim for installation. Refer to NEW SIDE TRIM, PREPARING FOR INSTALLATION .
-- Apply the adhesive. Refer to OVERVIEW - ADHESIVE BEADS ON SIDE TRIM, A6 AVANT .
-- Remove the protective film pieces -arrows- from the spacers -1 and 2-.
-- Insert and align the new side trim -3- ; pay attention to the following points while doing so:
- Glass panel closed.
- Check or correct installation dimensions. Refer to GLASS PANEL, ADJUSTING .
-- Position the side trim with the Tensioning Strap :T10038 and a suitable support during the curing time.
Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:
- Observe minimum curing times. Refer to MINIMUM CURING TIME FOR BONDED SLIDING SUNROOF .
