Luggage Compartment Cover Drive Unit, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the luggage compartment floor.

-- If equipped, remove the tire mobility kit mount.

-- If equipped, remove the vehicle tool kit mount. Refer to VEHICLE TOOL KIT MOUNT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the lock carrier trim panel. Refer to Lock Carrier Trim Panel, Removing and Installing .

-- Remove the luggage compartment side trim panel. Refer to LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT SIDE TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, VEHICLES WITHOUT HIGH-VOLTAGE SYSTEM .

-- Remove the D-pillar trim panels. Refer to D-Pillar Trim Panel, Removing and Installing .

-- Remove the bolts -2- and -3-.

-- Unclip the rail -1- with the Trim Removal Wedge:3409 -arrow- and disengage from the D-pillar.

-- Repeat the procedure on the opposite side.

-- Disconnect the connector -4-.

-- Remove the nuts -arrows-.

-- Disengage the drive unit -3- and the release cables from the brackets.

-- Remove the left and right rear bracket -1- for the rail. Refer to Rail, Removing and Installing .

-- Slightly lift the left and right frame for the rear panel sill -2- and disengage the release cables.

-- Remove the luggage compartment cover drive unit.
