Rear Shelf, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the center rear belt end fitting. Refer to REAR SEAT BELT LATCH, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the rear seat belt guide from the rear shelf. Refer to Rear Seat Belt Guide, Removing and Installing .

Vehicles with rigid backrest or individual seat backrest

-- Remove the rear seat backrest. Refer to REAR SEAT BACKREST, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

Continuation for all vehicles

-- Version 1: press the seat belt guide trim -1- out of the retainers -2- and -3- using the Trim Removal Wedge :3409  and remove the trim.

-- Version 2: unclip the trim -1- for the seat belt guide from the catch -arrow A- and disengage from the C-pillar trim panel -arrow B-.

-- Remove the D-pillar trim panels. Refer to D-Pillar Trim Panel, Removing and Installing  .

-- Remove the C-pillar trim panels. Refer to C-Pillar Trim Panel, Removing and Installing  .

-- Remove the speaker trim from the rear shelf. Refer to SPEAKER TRIM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

Vehicle versions without sun shade

-- Unclip the rear shelf -1- at the front using the Pry Lever :80-200  -A arrows-.

-- Pull the rear shelf -1- forward out of the mounts in the rear window frame -arrow B- and remove.

Continuation for all vehicles

Versions with a sun shade

-- Unclip the rear shelf -1- at the front -A arrows- using the Pry Lever :80-200  .

-- Detach the rear shelf -1- in the back of the sun shade -B arrows- and remove it by pulling it toward the front.
