Carpet, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the front seats. Refer to FRONT SEAT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the center console. Refer to Center Console, Removing and Installing .

-- Remove the A-pillar lower trim panels. Refer to A-Pillar Lower Trim Panel, Removing and Installing  .

LHD vehicle

-- Remove the footrest. Refer to FOOTREST, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, LHD VEHICLES  .

Continuation for all vehicles

-- Remove the footwell cover on the driver side. Refer to DRIVER SIDE FOOTWELL COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the B-pillar lower trim panels. Refer to B-Pillar Lower Trim Panel, Removing and Installing  .

-- Remove the floor mats.

-- If installed, remove the crash pads -D-, -F- and disconnect the connectors -A-.

-- Pivot the rear air duct -C- upward -arrow E- and out of the catch -arrow B-.

-- Remove the rear air duct.

-- Remove the lower child seat anchor guide. Refer to LOWER CHILD SEAT ANCHOR GUIDE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Grab the rear bench seat -1- under the molded part using both hands on one side.

-- Using both hands on one side, forcefully pull the rear bench seat -1- upward -arrow A- to release the molded part from the front mount.

-- Repeat the procedure in the center -arrow B- and on the opposite side of the rear bench seat -arrow C-.

-- Lift the front rear bench seat -1- and pull the rear carpet forward.

-- Remove the carpet -1- from under the sill panel.

-- Lift the carpet -1- at the rear -A arrows- and pull it toward the rear -B arrows-.

Conditions

• Make sure the carpet does not tear at the openings.

-- Fold floor covering and remove through the door.
