B-Pillar Upper Trim Panel, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- If installed, remove the vent -2- from the B-pillar trim panel and disconnect the connector.

-- Release the retainer -1- -arrow-.

-- Loosen the lower trim panel -1- by hand from the B-pillar -arrows A-, -arrows B-.

-- Remove the trim panel -1- toward the inside as far as possible inward from the B-pillar.

-- Move seat belt height adjuster -2- to the lowest position.

-- Free up the trim panel -1- in the door seal areas.

-- Unclip the trim panel -1- from the B-pillar -arrows A-.

-- Remove the upper trim panel -1- from the mount on the body by tilting the trim panel inward -A arrows- and pulling it downward at the same time -arrow B-.

-- Remove the upper trim panel -1- with the seat belt webbing still threaded in.

-- To replace the trim panel -1- remove the front belt end fitting. Refer to Front Belt End Fitting, Removing and Installing .
