A-Pillar Upper Trim Panel, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the instrument panel side cover. Refer to Instrument Panel Side Cover, Removing and Installing .

-- Unclip the A-pillar gap cover -1- using the Trim Removal Wedge :3409 -arrow A- and disengage at the A-pillar upper trim panel -arrow B-.

-- Free up the A-pillar trim panel -1- in the area of the inner door seal.

-- Detach the A-pillar trim panel -1- using the Trim Removal Wedge :3409 up to the first retainer -arrows-.

-- To disengage the trim panel, move the clamp -1- with the hooks into removal position, for this, position the scraper no. 1 from the Scraper Set :VAS 6845 as shown at the clamp.

-- Push the clip downward with the scraper into the trim panel -arrow-. This will move the pin head -2- out of the clip hooks.

-- Remove the trim panel -1- upward out of the instrument panel -arrow-.
