A-Pillar Lower Trim Panel, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Move the front seat as far back as possible.

-- Remove the instrument panel side cover. Refer to Instrument Panel Side Cover, Removing and Installing .

-- Unclip the A-pillar gap cover -1- using the Trim Removal Wedge :3409 -arrow A- and disengage at the A-pillar upper trim panel -arrow B-.

Driver side

-- Remove the hood latch hood release cable operating lever. Refer to LATCH RELEASE LEVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the bolt -2-.

Front passenger side

-- Remove the glove compartment. Refer to Glove Compartment, Removing and Installing .

-- Remove the fuse panel cover -1-. Refer to Owner's Manual.

-- Remove the trim panel -3- from the retainer -arrow- on the Relay and Fuse Panel 2 - SR2- -2-. (example image Audi A6)

-- Free up the trim panel -3- in the door seal area.

-- Starting at the back, unclip the trim panel -3- from the side sill -lower arrows- using the Trim Removal Wedge :3409 and remove toward the rear -right arrow-.
