Rear Lid Lower Trim Panel, Removing And Installing, A6 AVANT: Removing

-- If installed, remove the rear lid closing button. Refer to REAR LID CONTROL HEAD EX58, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the rear lid lamp. Refer to COMPONENT LOCATION OVERVIEW - LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LAMPS .

-- Turn the quick release -1- 90° counter-clockwise and move the cover -2- to the side -arrow-.

-- Remove the emergency triangle.

-- Disengage the cover -2- at the lower trim panel and remove it.

-- If installed, remove the bolts -1- and -2-.

-- Starting from the top, unclip the trim panel -1- from the rear lid -arrows- using the Removal Wedge :T40233 .

-- Remove the trim panel -1-.

-- If necessary, release the locking tabs -arrows A-.
