Driver/Front Passenger Side Rear Thorax Airbag Crash Sensor G256/G257, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the sill panel. Refer to Sill Panel, Removing and Installing .
-- Fold the insulation mat over the crash sensor.
CAUTION:
Pyrotechnical components can deploy unintentionally.
Risk of injury.
- Discharge the static electricity: quickly touch the door striker.
-- Remove the bolt -arrow- and remove the thorax airbag crash sensor -1- from the body.
-- Disconnect the connector -2-.
-- To do this pull out the connector lock -2-, push down -arrow-, and disconnect the connector -1- on the crash sensor.
