Component Location Overview - Airbag Crash Sensors

- Passenger Side Front Airbag Crash Sensor -G284-
- Component location
- All except RS 6/RS 7: right on the connecting brace under the headlamps
- RS 6 / RS 7: at the upper right of the lock carrier
- Refer to Driver Front Airbag Crash Sensor G283, Removing and Installing .
- Bolt
- 9 Nm
- Front Passenger Thorax Airbag Crash Sensor -G180-
- Component location: inside the door
- Make sure the seal is seated correctly. Replace the crash sensor if damaged or deformed
- Refer to Driver/Front Passenger Thorax Airbag Crash Sensor G179/G180, Removing and Installing .
- Passenger Side Rear Thorax Airbag Crash Sensor -G257-
- Component location: behind the sill panel strip
- Refer to Driver/Front Passenger Side Rear Thorax Airbag Crash Sensor G256/G257, Removing and Installing .

- Driver Side Rear Thorax Airbag Crash Sensor -G256-
- Component location: behind the sill panel strip
- Refer to Driver/Front Passenger Side Rear Thorax Airbag Crash Sensor G256/G257, Removing and Installing .
- Driver Thorax Airbag Crash Sensor -G179-
- Component location: inside the door
- Make sure the seal is seated correctly. Replace the crash sensor if damaged or deformed

- Driver Front Airbag Crash Sensor -G283-
- Component location
- All except RS 6/RS 7: left on the connecting brace under the headlamps
- RS 6 / RS 7: at the upper left of the lock carrier
