Coil Springs: Removing

-- Clamp strut holder :VAG1752/2 or equivalent in vise.

-- Install strut in strut holder :VAG1752/2 .

-- Compress coil spring with spring compressor:VAG1752/1 .

-- Make sure coil spring is correctly seated on spring holder :VAG1752/5 (arrow).

-- Remove self-locking nut.

-- Remove individual parts from coil spring.

-- Remove compressed spring along with spring compressor:VAG1752/1 .

After spring has been removed:

-- Release tension.
