Driver/Passenger Side Rear Interior Locking Button E717/E718, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the door trim panel. Refer to REAR DOOR TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Disconnect the connector.
-- Release the retainers -arrows-.
-- Remove the button -2- from the interior door mechanism -1-.
Tip
The interior door mechanism must be removed if the button cannot be removed as described. Refer to INTERIOR DOOR MECHANISM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
