Rear Lid Motor 1 -V444-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, A6 SEDAN: Removing

-- Remove the left luggage compartment side trim panel. Refer to LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT SIDE TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, VEHICLES WITHOUT HIGH-VOLTAGE SYSTEM , or LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT SIDE TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, VEHICLES WITH HIGH-VOLTAGE SYSTEM . For this remove the tie downs and the rear lid end trim panel. Refer to Luggage Compartment Trim Panels .

-- Disconnect the connector -5-.

-- Press the clip -2- together with needle nose pliers and remove the rear lid motor -1- from the ball stud.

-- Remove the bolts -4-.

-- Remove the rear lid motor with bracket -3-.

-- Press the clip -2- together using needle nose pliers and remove the mount -2- from the ball stud.
