Rear Lid Control Module -J605-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, A6 SEDAN AND A7 SPORTBACK: Removing

-- Remove the luggage compartment left trim panel. Refer to LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT SIDE TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, VEHICLES WITHOUT HIGH-VOLTAGE SYSTEM , or LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT SIDE TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, VEHICLES WITH HIGH-VOLTAGE SYSTEM .
-- Disconnect the connectors -1 and 2-.
-- Release the catches -3- and slide the control module -4- at the same time in the direction of -arrow-. (Different installation position.)
- Doing so disengages the brackets from the guides.
-- Remove the rear lid control module.
