Seat Bolster Cushion / Seat Pan Cover And Cushion, Removing And Installing, Sport/Super Sport Seat: Removing

-- Remove the front seat. Refer to FRONT SEAT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Secure the front seat to the Engine/Transmission Holder - Seat Repair Fixture:VAS 6136  . Refer to FRONT SEAT, MOUNTING ON FIXTURE FOR SEAT REPAIR .

-- Remove the tunnel-side seat frame trim panel. Refer to SEAT FRAME TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, TUNNEL-SIDE .

-- Remove the seat frame trim panel on the side sill side. Refer to SEAT FRAME TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, STANDARD/SPORT/SUPER SPORT SEAT .

-- If installed, remove the bolts -arrows- and remove the child seat anchor -1- from the front seat.

-- Disconnect the wiring harness connectors for the backrest and free up the disconnected wiring harnesses. Refer to MODULAR WIRING ROUTING, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING .

-- Remove the backrest. Refer to BACKREST, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Equipped on some models: remove the fire extinguisher bracket. Refer to FIRE EXTINGUISHER BRACKET, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the trim from the seat depth adjuster. Refer to SEAT DEPTH ADJUSTER TRIM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- North America versions with passenger occupant detection system: note the information. Refer to SEAT OCCUPANT DETECTION SYSTEM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Disconnect the connector -1-, if equipped.

-- Release the hooks -arrows- and fold the cushion and cover toward the rear.

-- Disengage the contour wire on the left and right side from the hooks -A arrows-.

-- Using the Hook Tool:T40207  , disengage the cover clamping strip from the hooks -B arrows-.

-- Disengage the cover molding -1, 2 and 3- in the front and side area using the Backrest Panel Tool:3370  .

-- Detach the hooks -arrows-.

-- Disengage the cover molding -1- using the Backrest Panel Tool:3370  .

Seat Bolster Cushion, Removing:

-- Equipped on some models: disconnect the connector for seat bolster heating and free up the wire.

-- Remove the cover from the seat bolster cushion, pull it upward, and lay it aside.

-- Loosen the seat bolster cushion -1 and 2- from the seat pan and remove.

Cover and Cushion, Removing:

-- Equipped on some models: free up the seat heating wiring harness at the seat pan. Disconnect the modular wiring routing to do so. Refer to MODULAR WIRING ROUTING, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING .

-- Detach the side of the molding -arrows- on the bottom of the upholstery wire -2- from the seat pan by hand or using the T-Handle Hook: 3438  .

-- Repeat the procedure on the opposite side.

-- Remove the cover and cushion -1- from the seat pan. Depending on the equipment version, guide the seat heating wiring harness out.
