Lock Cylinder, Removing And Installing: Installing

-- Insert the key -2- into the new lock cylinder -3-.
-- Remove the protective cap from the new lock cylinder.
-- Insert the lock cylinder into the trim -4- until it engages. Pay attention to the installation position of the pin.
TIP:
The trim for the left folding backrest is shown.
- Trim for the right folding backrest: the pin -arrow- on the lock cylinder faces toward the right rear in the direction of travel.
- Trim for the left folding backrest: the pin -arrow- on the lock cylinder faces toward the left rear in the direction of travel.
Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:
-- Perform a function test after installing.
-- To do this, latch the folding backrest and turn the key 90°.
- The backrest must latch.
