Seat Frame Trim Panel, Removing And Installing, Tunnel-Side: Removing

-- Remove the front seat. Refer to FRONT SEAT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Secure the front seat to the Engine/Transmission Holder - Seat Repair Fixture :VAS 6136 . Refer to FRONT SEAT, MOUNTING ON FIXTURE FOR SEAT REPAIR .

-- Release the backrest cover tension bands -arrow- at the bottom of the seat pan.

-- Reach behind the backrest cover -1- and forcefully press the side of it toward the rear to remove it from the backrest frame -arrow A-.

-- Repeat the procedure on the opposite side -arrow B-.

-- Continue removing the backrest cover until the lower catches are released from the backrest frame -arrow C-.

-- Remove the expanding rivets -1 and 3-.

-- Detach the front of the seat frame trim panel -2- from the seat pan -arrow A-.

-- Detach the rear of the seat trim panel at the backrest hinge -arrow B- and remove.
