Rear Lid Tail Lamp, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:
-- Check the self-adhesive seal -1- at the tail lamp -2- for damage.
- A damaged or incorrectly attached seal must be replaced.
TIP:
Water can leak into the interior due to a damaged or incorrectly adhering seal.
-- Attach the clamping bracket -3- to the tail lamp and screw in the nut -4- four turns.
-- Insert the tail lamp, then tighten the nut and the bolt.
TIP:
When tightening the nut the clamping bracket gets wedged at the rear lid.
-- Attach the cover to the tail lamp and press on.
