Battery A, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Lift the luggage compartment floor cover.

A6 Avant, A6 allroad

-- Remove the dirt tray.

Continuation for all vehicles

-- If installed, remove the spare tire and vehicle tool kit mount.

-- Remove the nuts -3- and -4-.

-- Remove the bolts -1- and -5-.

-- Remove the retaining bracket -2-.

-- Loosen the nut -1- and remove the Battery Monitoring Control Module -J367- -2-.

-- Open the cover -1- over the battery positive terminal.

-- Loosen the nut -3- and remove the main fuse panel -2-.

-- Remove the bolt -2-.

-- Remove the central venting system hose -4-.

-- Remove the battery -3- upward.
