Washer Fluid Reservoir, Removing And Installing, A3/S3: Removing

-- Remove the washer fluid reservoir filler neck. Refer to WASHER FLUID RESERVOIR FILLER NECK, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, A3/S3 .

-- Remove the left front wheel housing liner. Refer to OVERVIEW - FRONT WHEEL HOUSING LINER .

-- Place a drip tray under the washer fluid reservoir.

-- Disconnect the connectors -2, 4 and 5- and loosen the wiring harness -3- from the windshield washer fluid reservoir.

-- Release the clamps -6 and 7- and remove the washer fluid hoses from the windshield washer pump.

-- Equipment version: press the release buttons and remove the washer fluid hose -1- from the headlamp washer system pump.

-- Remove the nuts -arrows- with Socket: T40078 and commercially available extension for the socket wrench.

-- Detach the washer fluid reservoir -1- from the threaded pins and remove.
