Brake Caliper Piston, Removing And Installing: Installing

-- Clean the surfaces on the brake caliper piston and gasket only with mineral spirits and then dry.
-- Apply a thin coat of Lithium Grease to the seal.
-- Insert the seal into the brake caliper.
-- Place the protective cap -2- with outer sealing lip on the brake caliper piston -1-.
-- Insert the inner sealing lip in the cylinder groove using the :3409 -item A- at the same time hold the piston in front of the brake caliper.
-- Press the brake caliper piston in the brake caliper using the :T10145 -item A- do not tilt it while doing so.
- Outer sealing lip of protective cap will then engage in the brake caliper piston groove.
