Interior Rearview Mirror, Calibrating Compass

CAUTION:
Risk of injury due to unintended engine start on high-voltage vehicles!
- Pay attention to the high-voltage system warning messages:
- For procedures where the ignition must be switched off, refer to PROCEDURES THAT NEED IGNITION SWITCHED ON .
Procedure :
-- Switch the ignition on.
- A "C" must appear in the compass display -1-.
-- If no "C" appears, press the button -2- for 9 to 12 seconds until a "C" appears in the compass display.
-- Drive in two to three circles at a speed of approximately 10 km/h (6.2 mph) (5 mph) until a direction is shown in the compass display.
-- Once the calibration is complete, reactivate the automatic dimming of the interior rearview mirror:
Procedure :
-- Quickly pressing (less than 3 seconds) the button -2- turns the automatic dimming function on or off.
Automatic dimming "on" : indication light -1- turns on.
Automatic dimming "off" : indication light -1- turns off.
