Battery A
Procedure :
-- Connect the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester. Refer to VEHICLE DIAGNOSTIC TESTER, CONNECTING .
-- Select the Diagnostic mode and start the diagnosis.
-- Perform the vehicle identification.
-- Set v and press Accept to select "Work with Guided Fault Finding" .
-- Switch to the "Special Functions" tab and select the following program:
- A - Battery, Checking
-- Start the program using Perform test... .
-- Continue the program sequence.
-- The following actions are derived from the test result:
-- Switch to the control modules tab.
-- Press the X Diagnosis button and end the diagnosis.
-- Send the diagnostic log online.
A functioning network connection is required for sending the diagnostic log online.
After the diagnosis is complete, a confirmation that the log was sent successfully will be sent.

| "Battery is OK" | No further action is necessary. |
| "Battery, Charging" | Charge the battery. Refer to BATTERY A, CHARGING . |
| "Battery no longer meets the delivery quality" | Replace the battery. Refer to BATTERY A, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, VEHICLES WITHOUT ALTERNATIVE DRIVE SYSTEM, (0K0) , or BATTERY A, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, VEHICLES WITH HIGH-VOLTAGE SYSTEM, (0K3) , or BATTERY A, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING, VEHICLES WITH ALTERNATIVE DRIVE SYSTEM, (0K4) . |
