Bumper Cover Lower Section, Removing And Installing, A6: Removing

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- on the lower section of the bumper cover.
-- TDI engine: remove the rear underbody trim panel. Refer to OVERVIEW - UNDERBODY TRIM PANELS .
Version 1:
-- If equipped, disconnect the connector -1- and free up the wiring harness.
-- Disconnect the connector -2- and free up the power rear lid opening sensor 2 -3-.
-- Release the retainers in direction of -arrows- and remove the lower section -4- from the bumper cover.
Version 2:
-- If equipped, disconnect the connector -1- and free up the wiring harness.
-- Disconnect the connector -2-.
-- Release the retainers in direction of -arrows- and remove the lower section -3- from the bumper cover.
