Insulation
- Right-hand drive is arranged in a mirror image
- Between the air duct in the air distribution housing and the one in the resonator chamber in the air intake housing.
Evaporator Housing
- Right-hand drive is arranged in a mirror image
- With the evaporator installed by the manufacturer
- Depending on the version, further removal may not be necessary. Refer to OVERVIEW - EVAPORATOR HOUSING .
- Removing and installing the evaporator. Refer to EVAPORATOR IN FRONT HEATER AND A/C UNIT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Evaporator Vent Temperature Sensor -G263-
- Right-hand drive is arranged in a mirror image
- Removing and Installing. Refer to Evaporator Vent Temperature Sensor -G263-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Plug
- Plugs for example 8D0 819 598. Refer to the Parts Information.
- Only present on a heater and A/C unit, on which cleaning of the evaporator has taken place.
Cap
- for the connection to the glove compartment cooling
- Not present on glove compartment cooling
Catch
- Open carefully
Heater Core for the Heater
- Removing and Installing. Refer to HEATER CORE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Check the glued-on foam seals for damage and proper bonding. Refer to HEATER CORE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Bolt
- 1 Nm
Heat Exchanger Cover

Left Footwell Vent Temperature Sensor -G261-

Screw-Type Clamp
