Thermal Management Coolant Temperature Sensor 6 -G907-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, AUDI A6/A7
Special tools and workshop equipment required
- Shop Crane - Drip Tray:VAS 6208
Procedure
- High-voltage system cold.
-- In order to reduce the remaining pressure in the cooling system, cut the seal strap -1- and open the high-voltage system cooling circuit coolant expansion tank cap -5-.
-- Free up the wiring harness.
-- Lift the clamps -2 and 3-, remove and free up the coolant hoses.
-- Disconnect the connector -5- for the Engine Coolant Level Sensor -G32-.
-- Remove the bolt -4-, move the coolant expansion tank to the side.
-- Disconnect the connector -5-.
Collecting coolant and determining volumes.
-- Place the Shop Crane - Drip Tray:VAS 6208 underneath.
-- Disconnect the coolant hose -3- with Hose Clamps - Up To 25mm:3094 .
-- Disconnect and remove the coolant hose -2- with Hose Clamps - Up To 25mm:3094 , to do this, loosen the hose clamp.
-- Remove the bolt -4-, and remove the Thermal Management Coolant Temperature Sensor 6 -G907- -item 1-.
- Allocation of the O-ring/centering ring. Refer to Figure.
-- To prevent coolant loss, install the new coolant temperature sensor immediately.
- Used coolant cannot be used again.
-- Add the coolant. Refer to COOLANT, ADDING AND COOLING SYSTEM, BLEEDING, HIGH-VOLTAGE SYSTEM COOLING CIRCUIT .
-- Drain and fill the coolant for the high-voltage system cooling circuit only if the coolant loss is greater than 500 ml. Refer to COOLANT, DRAINING, HIGH-VOLTAGE COOLING CIRCUIT and Refer to COOLING SYSTEM, FILLING, HIGH-VOLTAGE SYSTEM COOLING CIRCUIT .
