Dynamic Ride Control (DRC), Checking

Rattle coming from area of suspension or rear of vehicle while driving on rough terrain   Strong side inclination of body while turning steering wheel

  • Components, Checking
  • Check connections to central valves, shock absorbers and wiring harnesses.
  • Replace leaking shock absorbers
← Yes   No → Check all connections to central valves, shock absorbers and wiring harnesses.

↓ Complaint eliminated?
↓ ↓ ↓
↓ No ↓ Yes ↓
↓ Check system pressure in both lines. (Central valve must be locked when connecting and disconnecting charging device.) ↓
↓   ↓ ↓
↓   System pressure larger than 14 bar (203.05 psi)? ↓
↓   No ↓ Yes ↓ ↓
Extract, evacuate and fill the entire DRC line with the DRC Filling Device:VAS6544  and perform a leak test. Refer to DYNAMIC RIDE CONTROL (DRC), DRAINING AND FILLING . ↓ ↓
