Vapor Pressure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2024 Audi S6 and 2024 Audi A6 Quattro. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

In a partially filled, closed reservoir, the quantity of refrigerant evaporating from the surface equals the quantity returning to the liquid state as vapor particles condense. This state of equilibrium occurs under pressure and is often called vapor pressure. The vapor pressure depends on the temperature. Refer to REFRIGERANT R134A VAPOR PRESSURE TABLE  "Vapor Pressure Table".
