Seat Pan Cover And Cushion, Removing And Installing, Standard Seat: Removing
-- Remove the front seat. Refer to FRONT SEAT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Secure the front seat to the Engine/Transmission Holder - Seat Repair Fixture: VAS6136 . Refer to FRONT SEAT, MOUNTING ON FIXTURE FOR SEAT REPAIR .
-- Remove the seat frame trim panel on the tunnel-side. Refer to SEAT FRAME TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, TUNNEL-SIDE .
-- Remove the seat frame trim panel on the side sill side. Refer to SEAT FRAME TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, SIDE SILL SIDE .
-- Equipped on some models: remove the fire extinguisher mount. Refer to FIRE EXTINGUISHER MOUNT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Equipped on some models: remove the Owner's Manual bracket. Refer to OWNER'S MANUAL BRACKET, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Equipped on some models: remove the storage compartment. Refer to STORAGE COMPARTMENT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Equipped on some models: remove the bolts -arrows- and remove the child seat anchor -1- from the front seat.
-- Disconnect the wiring harness connectors for the backrest and free up the disconnected wiring harnesses. Refer to WIRE ROUTING, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING .
-- North America versions with passenger occupant detection system: note the information. Refer to SEAT OCCUPANT DETECTION SYSTEM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the backrest. Refer to FRONT BACKREST, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Detach the molding -1, 2 and 3- from the cover in the front and side areas using the Backrest Panel Tool: 3370 .
-- Disengage the rubber tabs -arrows-.
-- Disengage the cover molding -1- using the Backrest Panel Tool: 3370 .
-- Detach the cushion with cover from the seat pan and remove. If equipped, guide out the seat heating wiring harness.
