Component Location Overview - Seat Occupant Detection System

NOTE:
For the seat heating element is used for the seat occupant detection system.
- Wiring Harness
- For the seat position sensor/seat belt fastening detection/seat belt switch
- Clip into the seat pan
- Black connector, connector station in the vehicle floor under the seat
- Removing and installing. Refer to SEAT POSITION SENSOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

- Clip into the seat pan
- Green connector, connector station in the vehicle floor under the seat
- Removing and installing. Refer to SEAT OCCUPANT DETECTION SYSTEM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Seat Occupant Detection System Control Module -J706-
- Removing and installing. Refer to SEAT OCCUPANT DETECTION SYSTEM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

- The seat heating element is used for the seat occupant detection system
- Depending on the seat version, the passenger occupant detection system is either sewn into the cover with the seat heating element, or bonded onto the seat cushion
- Removing and installing. Refer to SEAT OCCUPANT DETECTION SYSTEM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
