Connector On Airbag, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the driver side airbag. Refer to AIRBAG UNIT WITH IGNITER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
CAUTION:
Pyrotechnical components can deploy unintentionally.
Risk of injury.
- Discharge the static electricity: quickly touch the door striker.
-- Release the connector lock -2- for the connector -1- with a small flat-head screwdriver in the direction of -arrow-.
-- Disconnect the connectors -3 and 4- from the Driver Airbag Igniter -N95- and, depending on the market, from the Driver Airbag Release Valve Igniter -N490-.
-- Disconnect the connectors -1, 2 and 5- by releasing the retaining tabs.
-- Unclip the bracket -6- for the wire and remove the wiring harness.
