Seat Frame Trim Panel, Removing And Installing, Side Sill Side: Removing

-- Move the front seat into its highest position.

-- Equipped on some models: remove the backrest adjustment hand wheel. Refer to BACKREST ADJUSTER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Equipped on some models: remove the seat height adjustment handle. Refer to SEAT HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT HANDLE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Release the hooks -1- using a flat-head screwdriver.

-- Remove the expanding rivet -3-.

-- Detach the rear of the seat frame trim panel -2- at the bracket in direction of -arrow A-.

-- Remove the seat frame trim panel upward from the bracket in direction of -B arrows-.

-- Equipped on some models: disconnect the connectors by pressing the release.

1, 2 - Driver Seat Adjustment Control Head -E470- /Front Passenger Seat Adjustment Control Head -E471-

3 - Driver Seat Lumbar Support Adjustment Switch -E176- /Front Passenger Seat Lumbar Support Adjustment Switch -E177-

-- Free up the wiring harness.

-- Remove the seat frame trim panel on the side sill side.

-- If necessary, remove the bolts/expanding rivet -arrows- and remove the seat frame trim panel bracket -1-.
