Control Module for Emergency Call Module and Communication Unit -J949-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Removing

-- Turn off the ignition and all electrical equipment and remove the ignition key.

-- For the sedan, remove the rear panel sill frame. Refer to REAR PANEL SILL FRAME, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- For the Avant/allroad, remove the front luggage compartment floor. Refer to LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

The Control Module for Emergency Call Module and Communication Unit -J949- -1- is engaged in the bracket -2-.

-- Press the retainers -A arrows- and pry out the Control Module for Emergency Call Module and Communication Unit -J949- -1- -B arrow-.

-- Release and disconnect the connectors from the Control Module for Emergency Call Module and Communication Unit -J949- -1-.

Bracket, Removing

-- Remove the nut -3- and remove the bracket -2- from the threaded pins -3 and 4-.

-- Audi A4 Avant/allroad g-tron: remove the nuts -3 and 4- and remove the bracket -2- from the threaded pins -3 and 4-.
