1. Bolt
   • 20 Nm
2. Bracket
   • For the retaining loop
3. Retaining Loop
   • Replace if damaged
   • Replace the red retaining loop after removing
4. Rear Muffler
   • As original equipment, one unit with front muffler and center muffler If a repair is required replace each separately
   • Removing and Installing. Refer to MUFFLER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, AUDI A3 FROM MY 2021/Q2 FROM MY 2016/AUDI Q3 FROM MY 2019/TT FROM MY 2015 .
   • Separating point. Refer to EXHAUST PIPES/MUFFLERS, DISCONNECTING .
   • Exhaust System, Installing without Tension. Refer to EXHAUST SYSTEM, INSTALLING WITHOUT TENSION .
5. Front Muffler
   • As original equipment, one unit with center muffler and rear muffler. If a repair is required replace each separately
   • Removing and Installing. Refer to MUFFLER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, AUDI A3 FROM MY 2021/Q2 FROM MY 2016/AUDI Q3 FROM MY 2019/TT FROM MY 2015 .
   • Separating point. Refer to EXHAUST PIPES/MUFFLERS, DISCONNECTING .
   • Exhaust System, Installing without Tension. Refer to EXHAUST SYSTEM, INSTALLING WITHOUT TENSION .
6. Bolt
   • 20 Nm
7. Bracket
   • For the retaining loop
8. Retaining Loop
   • Replace if damaged
   • Replace the red retaining loop after removing
9. Center Clamping Sleeve
   • Before tightening, align the exhaust system without tension. Refer to EXHAUST SYSTEM, INSTALLING WITHOUT TENSION .
   • Installation position. Refer to Fig 1.
   • Tighten threaded connections evenly. Refer to appropriate Service Information. .
10. Center Muffler
    • As original equipment, one unit with front muffler and rear muffler. If a repair is required replace each separately
    • Removing and Installing. Refer to MUFFLER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, AUDI A3 FROM MY 2021/Q2 FROM MY 2016/AUDI Q3 FROM MY 2019/TT FROM MY 2015 .
    • Separating point. Refer to EXHAUST PIPES/MUFFLERS, DISCONNECTING .
    • Exhaust System, Installing without Tension. Refer to EXHAUST SYSTEM, INSTALLING WITHOUT TENSION .
11. Retaining Loop
    • Replace if damaged
    • Replace the red retaining loop after removing
12. Rear Clamping Sleeve
    • Before tightening, align the exhaust system without tension. Refer to EXHAUST SYSTEM, INSTALLING WITHOUT TENSION .
    • Installation position. Refer to appropriate Repair Information .
    • Tighten threaded connections evenly. Refer to Repair Information .
13. Retaining Loop
    • Replace if damaged
    • Replace the red retaining loop after removing
14. Bracket
    • For the retaining loop
15. Bolt
    • 20 Nm

-- Install the clamping sleeve in the position shown.

• Threaded connections point forward.
• Nuts downward.
• Bolt ends must not protrude over the lower edge of the clamping sleeve.
