Overview - Cylinder Block, Transmission Side: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal.

Intermediate Plate, Removing and Installing

Removing

The flywheel is removed. Refer to FLYWHEEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Intermediate plate is removed. Refer to Figure.

-- Remove the intermediate plate from the alignment sleeves -bottom arrows- and disengage it from the sealing flange -top arrow-.

Installing

-- Hang the intermediate plate on the sealing flange -upper arrow- and slide it on the alignment sleeves -lower arrows-.

Transmission Side Sealing Flange - Tightening Specifications and Sequence

-- Tighten the bolts -1 to 8- in stages in the sequence shown.

Step	Tightening Specification
1.	Install all the way by hand
2.	9 Nm
