Fuse Panel B -SB- IN E-BOX, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Removing

-- Disconnect the ground cable from the battery when the ignition is switched off. Refer to BATTERY, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING .

-- TFSI: remove the air filter housing. Refer to AIR FILTER HOUSING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- TDI: remove the air filter housing. Refer to the appropriate Service Information .

-- Press the release button in the direction of -arrows- and remove the cover -1- for the engine compartment E-box.

-- Free up the wiring harness -3-.

-- Open the tab using a screwdriver -2- and remove the front cover -1- upward.

-- Remove the wire -3- and free it up.

-- Cut the cable tie -1- at the lower wiring harness.

-- Open the retainers in the direction of -arrows- and remove Fuse Panel B -SB- -item 2-.

-- Pry off the cover -1-.
