Upper Timing Chain Cover Seal, Replacing

Procedure

-- Remove the upper timing chain cover. Refer to UPPER TIMING CHAIN COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Drive out the seal with the Seal Installer - Driveshaft:VW 195 -arrow-.

-- Make sure the upper timing chain cover is free of any sealant residue and support it with molded tabs -arrows- on a secure surface and press in the new seal all the way using the Camshaft Installer Kit - Sleeve:3241/4 .

-- Install the upper timing chain cover. Refer to UPPER TIMING CHAIN COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
