Oil Spray Jets, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the oil pan upper section. Refer to OIL PAN UPPER SECTION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Move the vibration damper into installation position and hand-tighten the bolts.
-- Remove the Crankshaft Locking Pin :T40069 .
- The notch -1- in the Crankshaft Adapter :T03003A is positioned vertically to the oil pan sealing surface.
-- When mounting, turn the crankshaft only in the direction of engine rotation -arrow-.
-- Turn the crankshaft with Crankshaft Adapter :T03003A -arrow- until the respective bolt is accessible.
-- Remove the pressure relief valve -2- using the Torx Bit - T40 :T10545 .
-- Remove the oil spray jet -1-.
