Front A/C Display Control Head -E87-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:

-- Check the retainers -1- on the control head -2-. If a retainer is bent too far open, bend it back.

If a control head is installed with retainers that are bent too far, it may no longer be able to be removed from the instrument panel (the retainers are too strongly engaged in the mount).

-- If the Front A/C Display Control Head -E87- was replaced, complete the test plan for replacing the Front A/C Display Control Head -E87- using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester .
