Shift Mechanism, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:
If the selector mechanism is replaced:
- When delivered, the handle for the emergency release -1- is attached and locked.
-- Remove the handle for the emergency release -1- -arrow A- and connect the bottom in the position shown -arrow B-.
- Route the cable neatly.
Continuation for all:
-- Adjust the selector lever cable. Refer to SELECTOR LEVER CABLE, CHECKING AND ADJUSTING .
-- Check the selector mechanism. Refer to SHIFT MECHANISM, CHECKING .
-- Install the air filter housing. For gasoline, refer to AIR FILTER HOUSING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING
-- Install the center console insert. Refer to CENTER CONSOLE INSERT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
