Dust Cap, Removing And Installing: Installing

- To clean only use mineral spirits.
-- Clean the surfaces on the brake caliper piston and brake caliper using mineral spirits and then dry.
-- Thinly coat the brake caliper pistons and the protective cap with Lithium Grease before installing.
-- Place the protective cap in the groove -arrow- on the brake caliper piston.
-- Install the brake caliper piston clockwise -arrow-.
-- Push the protective cap onto the brake caliper using the Press Piece:T10502 -item 2- and Piston Resetting Tool:T10145 -item 1- so that the protective cap is touching the brake caliper all the way around.
