Brake Fluid Reservoir, Removing And Installing, LHD Vehicle: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:

-- Coat the plugs on the brake fluid reservoir with brake fluid.

-- Insert the brake fluid reservoir into the plugs in the brake master cylinder.

-- Slide the locking pin through the brake fluid reservoir and the master brake cylinder.

The locking pin must be pushed into the brake fluid reservoir tab.

-- Fill the brake fluid reservoir up to the "MIN" mark (example image).

-- Remove all cloths from the vehicle that were previously placed down.

-- Bleed the brake system. Refer to HYDRAULIC SYSTEM, BLEEDING .

-- Bleed the clutch hydraulic. Refer to the appropriate Service Information. .

-- Install the air filter housing. Refer to AIR FILTER HOUSING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Install the battery. Refer to BATTERY, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Check brake fluid level, and fill if necessary.

CAUTION:

Faulty brakes increase the risk of an accident.

- Make sure the brakes are working correctly before driving the vehicle for the first time.
