Alcohol Interlock System, Initial Operation

Connect the alcohol interlock system
-- Pay attention to the manufacturers instructions when installing and connecting the control module.
-- Connect the battery. Refer to BATTERY, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING .
-- Install the fuse 10 A in the fuse panel single fuse at the Fuse Panel C -SC- in the left front of the footwell.
Perform a software update
-- Connect the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.
-- Select "flash".
-- Select "Enter SVM code".
-- Perform the software update with SVM code -46A510-.
Start the alcohol interlock system.
-- Perform a function test following manufacturer instructions.
