Rear Lid, Removing And Installing, SPORTBACK: Removing

-- Remove the rear lid upper trim panel. Refer to REAR LID UPPER TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Disconnect the connectors and the antenna wires and free up the wiring harness.
-- Guide out the wiring harness with grommet from the rear lid.
-- Remove the gas-filled strut . Refer to GAS-FILLED STRUT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- If equipped, remove the rear lid motor. Refer to Rear Lid Drive Unit -VX69- /Rear Lid Drive Unit 2 -VX77-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the bolts -2-.
-- Remove the engine compartment lid -1- with help from a second technician.
