Rear Lid Drive Unit -VX69- /Rear Lid Drive Unit 2 -VX77-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Removing

-- Lower the headliner near the hinges. Refer to OVERVIEW - HEADLINER .
-- Disconnect the connector -5- and free up the wiring harness -4-.
-- Have second technician support the rear lid.
-- Lightly pry up the locking spring -2- using a small screwdriver and remove the rear lid drive unit -1- from the ball pin -arrow- on the body and the rear lid.
-- Remove the grommet -3- from the body and guide the wiring harness out through the opening.
