Power Rear Lid Opening Sensor -G750- /Power Rear Lid Opening Sensor 2 -G760-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:

The lower section of the bumper cover and the power rear lid opening sensor must be at room temperature.
The adhesive surfaces must be free of dirt and grease.

-- Remove the adhesive residue on the lower section of the bumper cover.

-- Clean the adhesive surface of the plastic side with Cleaning Solution and let it dry.

-- Align the power rear lid opening sensor at the markings on the lower section of the bumper cover.

A3/S3: the Rear Lid Opener Sensor 2 -G760- must be secured on the lower section for the upper bumper cover. Identifying feature: pin "1 and 2" on the connector.
RS3: the Rear Lid Opener Sensor 2 -G760- must be secured on the lower section for the upper bumper cover. Identifying feature: pin "3 and 4" on the connector.

-- Remove the protective film from the adhesive tape.

-- Press on the power rear lid opening sensor all the way.

Resting time is at least 30 minutes at room temperature.
