Overview - Wheel Bearing, Fwd With Torsion Beam Axle

- Dust Cap
- Replace after removing
- Removing and Installing. Refer to WHEEL BEARING UNIT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Bolt
- 200 Nm +90°
- Replace after removing
- Loosening and tightening. Refer to DRIVE AXLE THREADED CONNECTION, LOOSENING AND TIGHTENING
- Clean the threads in the wheel bearing housing with a thread tap before installing.
- Wheel Bearing Unit
- With sensor ring for ABS speed sensor
- Check sensor ring. Refer to Sensors ; Sensor Ring for ABS Speed Sensor Checking
- Removing and Installing. Refer to WHEEL BEARING UNIT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, FWD WITH TORSION BEAM AXLE .
- Cannot be disassembled
- Handling the wheel bearing. Refer to the graphic below.
- Bolts
- 30 Nm +90°
- Replace after removing
- Brake Shield
- Removing and installing. Refer to BRAKE SHIELD, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Axle Stub
- Axle Beam

CAUTION:
Improper handling and poor cleanliness could increases the risk of wheel bearing damage.
- Note the following instructions for handling the wheel bearing.
- Position the wheel bearing -1- so that it faces upward.
- Always set the wheel bearing down on the wheel hub -2-.
